I grew up in Seoul, South Korea. I have lived in Germany for over twenty years and also lived in North America. My experiences with migration in different settings and contexts have led me to reflect on the challenges and resources associated with diverse cultural identities.

I appreciate the diversity of different cultures and the diversity that people carry within themselves. Understanding this inner diversity through communication, which often goes beyond words, is very enriching.

I live in a multiracial and multicultural family.
