I grew up in Seoul, South Korea. I have lived in Germany for over twenty years and also lived in North America. My experiences with migration in different settings and contexts have led me to reflect on the challenges and resources associated with diverse cultural identities. In this way, I was able to develop my own identity.
I appreciate the diversity of different cultures and the diversity that people carry within themselves. Understanding this diversity through communication, which often goes beyond words, is very enriching.
